Reverend Father Aristidis Arizi
The Reverend Deacon Aristidis Arizi was ordained to the holy priesthood by Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta at the Annunciation Cathedral in Atlanta. Priests of several Orthodox jurisdictions participated in the ordination liturgy.

The Very Rev. Joachim Cotsonis, PhD, Director of the Archbishop Iakovos Library, presented a scholarly paper at the 10th International Symposium of Byzantine Sigillography held at the University of Ioannina, Greece, on October 1-3, 2009. The paper was entitled "The Image of the Doubting Thomas on an Unpublished Seal of the Sixth Century". It was co-authored by Dr. John Nesbitt of Dumbarton Oaks, Harvard Center for Byzantine Studies.
