Our School is situated on 59 acres overlooking downtown Boston. This location allows students to live in a peaceful, relaxed environment while still enjoying all that a big city has to offer.
Holy Cross' primary mission is the education and formation of future priests and lay leaders to meet the growing needs of the Orthodox Church and her people. In addition, Holy Cross is dedicated to the advancement of Orthodox Christian thought and life through theological reflection, scholarly research and publications, the integration of theology with pastoral ministry, intellectual and ecumenical dialogue and continuing education for those already serving in ministry.
Holy Cross offers the following graduate degrees: Master of Divinity, Master of Theological Studies and Master of Theology. We also offer a partnership with 8 other theological schools in the Greater Boston area through the Boston Theological Institute. It is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools of the United States and Canada*, and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
The beautiful 59-acre campus is situated on a hilltop overlooking the city of Boston. Wooded and serene, it provides the necessary quiet for study, prayer and reflection. At the same time, one is never far away from lively and historic Boston, a city that offers many opportunities for cultural, artistic, educational, recreational and social activities.
