East of Byzantium Inaugural Events, April 13 & 14

East of Byzantium is a new partnership between the Arthur H. Dadian and Ara Oztemel Chair of Armenian Art at Tufts University and the Mary Jaharis Center for Byzantine Art and Culture at Hellenic College Holy Cross. It explores the cultures of the eastern frontier of the Byzantine Empire in the late antique and medieval periods.

On March 5, the HCHC Office of Vocation & Ministry hosted the 11th annual St. Photios the Great Faith & Learning Symposium. Renowned Orthodox Christian author and University of Maine Professor of Sociology Kyriakos Markides, PhD, spoke on the topic of intuition.

 

Summer Internship Opportunities Available

A new internship program sponsored by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh and the Office of Stewardship, Outreach and Evangelism of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America is now being offered to Holy Cross students currently enrolled in one of HCHC’s masters degree programs.

HCHC Mourns the Passing of Fr. George Nicholas Economos

Our HCHC community is deeply saddened by the passing of Fr. George Nicholas Economos, who fell asleep in the Lord at the age of 93 on February 25, surrounded by family at his home in Boston.
