Library Icon on Loan

The Archbishop Iakovos Collection has loaned the icon of St. John the Theologian, c. 1800, to the Museum of Biblical Art (MOBIA) of the American Bible Society in New York for the special exhibition and reception in honor of the visit of the Ecumenical Patriarch, His All Holiness Batrtholomew, Archbishop of Constantinople and New Rome. The exhibit, entitled "Scripture, Image, Life: Orthodox Christianity", will continue through the 24th of January 2010. This is the third itme that The Archbishop Iakovos Collection has loaned an object for museum exhibitions.
